It discourages us from exploring new cultures, cuisines, and knowledge to break negative familial patterns. Diffidence keeps us small and chained to our fears but we were made for more. We were created to shape this world and impact the people within it for the better. Diffidence left unchecked leaves us with minds less traveled in thought and experiences.

Brand Identity

When discovering what brought Jaron the most purpose in his work, we landed upon a place of travel—both mentally and geographically. Traveling is an art form, and to be able to do it well takes a certain type of individual. It takes curiosity, creativity, taste, humility, and courage, to name a few. All of these qualities were true of Jaron and his clients; they were men who sought to live uncharted lives to experience the best in life. With this understanding, we sought to step out of and build upon the blocks laid by the classic black barbershop tradition and infuse it with global imagination and a spirit of travel.

Domane was born to be a home away from home for the men of adventure seeking a barbershop that cultivated their minds as much as their hair.
